Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
FuturesAI operates this website, including all related software, algorithms, data analytics features, subscriptions, and services, to provide you, the customer, with market research tools (the “Services”). FuturesAI is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the primary checkout and account management Services to you.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or purchase a digital subscription using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read it and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable data-protection law that cannot be waived.
Data Controller
For the purpose of applicable data-protection laws, including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the data controller of your personal information is FuturesAI, Travesia Monasterio Urdax, 31011, Spain. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@futuresaiengine.com.
Account Requirement
A logged-in customer account is required to use the dashboard. You must create and sign in to a customer account before you can access our data analytics tools and dashboards.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term “personal information,” we mean information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect or process the following:
-
Contact details: including your name and email address.
-
Display name: a saved display name you set for your profile, stored in your Shopify customer record (customer metafields).
-
Account information: including your username, password, subscription tier, and software preferences.
-
Financial information: including billing address and transaction details, processed securely by our payment and subscription providers; we do not store your full card numbers on our servers.
-
Transaction information: including the subscriptions you purchase, renew, or cancel, and your payment history.
-
Usage and activity data: including your analysis history, monthly usage counts, daily name-change counts, and associated timestamps.
-
Integration details: including usernames or IDs for third-party platforms (such as Discord or Telegram) if you choose to link them to receive our data outputs.
-
Communications with us: including the information you include in customer support inquiries.
-
Device & usage information: including information about your device, browser, IP address, how you interact with our dashboards, login frequency, and API request logs.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal information:
-
Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to create and manage your account and access credentials, provision and secure the Services, run your analyses, track usage, process recurring payments, and provide support relating to your subscription.
-
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to secure our systems, authenticate logins, prevent unauthorized account sharing or scraping, detect fraud and abusive chargebacks, protect our intellectual property, and to operate and improve the Services. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance them against your rights, and you may object as described below.
-
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for optional marketing communications and for any non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
-
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to retain billing, tax, and accounting records and to respond to valid legal requests.
Where we ask for personal information to enter into or perform a contract, providing it is necessary to use the Services; without it we may be unable to provide access.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Some data is cached locally in your browser (using localStorage) to make the dashboard responsive and reduce repeated loading. This browser cache is not the authoritative copy of your data and is used for functionality.
The authoritative copy of your profile and activity data — including your display name, analysis history, and usage counts — is synced to and stored on your Shopify customer record and its associated customer metafields. If there is any discrepancy, the data stored on your Shopify customer record is treated as authoritative.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies. Technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Services and keep you logged in are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning service. Non-essential technologies (for example, for analytics or marketing) are used only where you have given consent through our cookie banner, which you can change or withdraw at any time.
Personal Information Sources
-
Directly from you: when you create an account, set your display name, purchase a subscription, or communicate with us.
-
Automatically through the Services: from your device when you log in, and through cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies.
-
From our service providers: including the processors listed below when they process data on our behalf to provision your software access.
How We Use Your Personal Information
-
Provide and Secure the Services: perform our contract with you, process recurring payments, create and manage your access credentials, run your analyses, track usage counts, and authenticate logins.
-
Software Provisioning (Webhooks & Automation): securely transmit your email, subscription status, and profile/history data through backend automation to grant or revoke dashboard access and keep your records in sync.
-
Marketing: send promotional emails about new features or tiers, where permitted. You can opt out at any time and we rely on consent or, for existing customers, our legitimate interest subject to your right to object.
-
Security and Fraud Prevention: authenticate accounts, prevent unauthorized sharing or scraping, detect fraudulent chargebacks, and protect our intellectual property.
-
Communicating with You: provide technical support and send service messages about your subscription or billing.
-
Legal Reasons: comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal processes, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Automated Decision-Making
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing. Our security tools may flag accounts for review (for example, where sharing or scraping is suspected), but a meaningful human review is applied before we take an adverse action such as suspending or terminating access. You may contact us to express your point of view or contest such a decision.
How We Disclose Personal Information & Sub-Processors
We share personal information with the following third-party processors and sub-processors, who act on our instructions under data-processing agreements and only for the purposes described:
-
Shopify: hosting, customer accounts, and checkout/payments.
-
Appstle Subscriptions: subscription billing and the customer billing portal.
-
Make.com (Integromat): backend automation, including processing analyses and syncing your profile and history.
-
Google Sheets: backend data source used to generate analyses.
-
TradingView: an embedded charting widget displayed within the dashboard.
We may also disclose personal information to payment processors and cloud hosting providers who operate our infrastructure, and in connection with legal obligations or a business transition such as a merger or acquisition, to comply with legal process, to enforce our Terms of Service (including addressing fraudulent chargebacks), and to protect our rights and digital assets. Where we engage in marketing with partners, we do so only on a basis permitted by law and with your consent where required.
Relationship with Shopify
The primary storefront and checkout Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to provide and improve the Services. Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions. To learn more, review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights with respect to your personal information via the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may link to or embed third-party charting software (such as TradingView), brokers, or social platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, and inclusion of links or embedded widgets does not imply endorsement. Those providers process your data under their own privacy policies.
Children’s Data
The Services are intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit for our checkout process and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention of Your Information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In practice:
-
Account and activity data: retained while your subscription is active and for a limited period afterward to handle reactivation, support, and disputes.
-
Billing, tax, and accounting records: retained for the period required by applicable law (in Spain, commercial and tax records are generally kept for several years).
-
Security data (such as limited IP and device information of accounts terminated for a Terms of Service violation): retained only for as long as necessary and proportionate to prevent recurrence and to establish or defend legal claims, on the basis of our legitimate interests and subject to your right to object.
When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country where you live, including outside the EEA or the UK. Where we do, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism, such as a European Commission adequacy decision (for example, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified U.S. recipients) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where appropriate. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards in place.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
-
Access: request access to and a copy of personal information we hold about you.
-
Rectification / Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
-
Erasure / Deletion: request that we delete personal information, subject to legal limits.
-
Restriction: request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
-
Portability: request a copy of certain data in a portable format, or its transfer to another provider where technically feasible.
-
Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time (we will always stop marketing on request).
-
Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
-
Managing communication preferences: opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link; we will still send essential service messages about your subscription.
Please note that while your subscription is active, certain account data is necessary to provide the Services. If you ask us to erase data that we need to maintain your access, we will treat this as a request to close your account and end your subscription, after which we will delete data we are not required by law to retain. Erasure may not apply where we must keep information to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we aim to respond within one month, with an extension where permitted for complex requests. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have not handled your personal information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es). You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence or workplace. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first, so please consider contacting us before doing so.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our software architecture, operational practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this website and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
